Water Day 2019

An extraordinary trip into the hidden depths of the city of Brussels to uncover the key element which is vital for its smooth functioning. Awaken your senses: visit the museum and join us for creative and participatory activities, such as:

  • An urban print workshop, using sewer plates
  • In the footsteps of the Senne: guided city walk
  • Once upon a time in the bowels of the city: a unique storytelling walk, from 7 years onwards
  • Meeting with the museum guides
  • The sea begins here: a creative and participatory parade to educate passers-by by affixing stencils next to the drains. Why? To remind the public of the link between sewers and the sea.
Starting point: Sewer Museum | Arrival: GardeRobe MannekenPis
