Under the dripping walls and intriguing vault of the collector sewer, PAROLE shines a light on the traces of the living. The Brussels artist thus evokes the flow of equipment, the stories and experience of sewage workers.
His mural is designed as a Bio-Palimpsest. The walls of the collector look like a parchment that has been scratched with the intention of erasing the old text and drafting a new text. The first text remains readable, against the light.
The artist draws attention to the traces caused by the rising waters. The rising water levels are gradually washing away the mural. Certain remnants are still evolving today under the influence of the ambient microcosm.
